Housing Hope – Tomorrow’s Hope CDC

Located in Everett, Washington, Housing Hope has been a leader and innovator in creating housing, services, and solutions to the challenges faced by homeless and at-risk families for 30 years. Housing Hope opened Tomorrow’s Hope Child Development Center in 1992 to provide parents access to daycare while they focused on employment and housing activities. The agency quickly realized that the children in these families were adversely impacted by homelessness and needed more than daycare; they needed high-quality, tailored child development services.

For the past 10 years, Housing Hope has invested in developing a therapeutic program addressing this need. The agency collaborates with a variety of community partners including Head Start, ChildStrive, Community Health Center, Everett Public Schools, and Imagine Children’s Museum to provide evidence-based and best practice interventions that are trauma-informed and family-centered. This program is highly respected locally, and throughout the State for its effective work.

Good news! In 2016, Tomorrow’s Hope was awarded an increased rating from the State Department of Early Learning’s Early Achievers voluntary Quality Rating and Improvement System. This program serves as a model for helping children to achieve on-target development and enter kindergarten academically and socially ready.

Our Program

Tomorrow’s Hope Child Development Center provides high-quality child development services to children and their parents. Tomorrow’s Hope is the only licensed child development facility in Snohomish County specifically designed to meet the needs of families experiencing or have experienced homelessness or poverty. Tomorrow’s Hope is licensed to serve 112 children from four weeks to 11 years and 11 months of age so that children of different ages in a family receive quality services at one location.
