Cocoon House

The comprehensive approach of Cocoon House ensures that each young person is met where they are, physically and emotionally, to ensure the best possible outcomes for their future.  Young people connect with Cocoon House staff when in our programs, in their schools, or out on the street.  Parents are provided with services to help keep their teen in the home, or provide the smoothest transition possible if the teen is returning home from homelessness.  This scope of service allows Cocoon House to ensure they are reaching young people and families in all possible ways to ensure that every child has a home and a future. Get Help: Call 425.317.9898 or email info@cocoonhouse.org. Housing

Cocoon House provides short and long term housing to homeless young people ages 12-17 years old, and their children. Providing much more than a safe place to sleep, teens receive help engaging in school, preparing for employment, life and enrichment skills, and help accessing community services on and off site, while planning for long term housing.

Prevention

Cocoon House believes preventing teens from becoming homeless means educating and supporting parents to build safe, structured environments for teens to develop. Our Prevention team offers parent education and supportive programming to parents and guardians to increase their knowledge of their developing teen or pre-teen. Cocoon House’s WayOUT Seminar supports this program as an intense 13 hour seminar with teen and parents or guardians to increase communication and trust.
